I have just come back and 10 of us went on the Skidoo’s. It wasn’t all that. You just drive up the mountain on roads, stop at the top for 5 mins and come down again. The whole thing lasts about 40 mins and the max speed you do is 20 mph.
think I read the price in Pamps was £14 for 30 mins.
Check insurance tho as most policies I've seen don't cover personal liability for automobiles or any other vehicle etc including ski doos. I.e. if you cause an accident and its found to be your fault you pay all costs & damages. Insurance wont cover you.
Went on the Skidoo's last year in Borovets it was well worth it. We went up a mountain road and then back thourgh the forest. It was about £20 per couple for around 45 mins. No word of a lie these things have the same accelleration as a 250cc motorcross bike. As said before you are usally not covered on your insurance so be aware. Well worth a go even if you go slow....
went on one in Pamp. had one to myself, £30 we where out for just over an hour. told the guy i'd ridden motorcross bikes for years so we gave it a bit of stick on the way back in for about 15 minutes.
get to a down hill bit, go really slow then whack the throttle open for a few seconds. grab the back brake, lock the tracks up and shift your weight to one side to bring the back end out, wait for it to get quite faw out and then whack the throttle open again to straighten it out again.
