Skiing in March in Borovets.

Hi everyone,

A group of about 10 of us are thinking of going to Borovets on 06 March 2012 (due to work commitments). I was wondering if anyone could answer a few questions for me.

1) Is the snow still good for skiing/snowboarding? Do we know how much snow fell in March 2011?

2) Is it still busy? Are the bars still open late and lively?

the best snow fall the last few years has been in march so i would say you would be ok for conditions...

it will be busy and lively till late! wont be like ibiza but there will be plenty of bars and there is a nightclub open till 6am some nights depending on how busy it is...

the snow is always good in March, the bars are gr8 and most the hotels have a 24hr bar. You will love it, there is agroup of about 15 of us flying from edinburgh cant wait.

Sorry for the late reply but thanks for the posts.

Well looking forward to the skiing and the late nights/early mornings. The 6 over lads are also up to a good break away from the norm.

Sounds like there are alot of people skiing in Borovets in March so its should be a good laugh for all.

If there are any good bars in Borovets please let me as it would be grand to know before hand.

We are going back pretty much the same week as you so hopefully the snow will be just as good, if not better!
