Just out of interest, has anyone been skiing in Scotland? Still in mourning now that i have to wait another yr before heading off on another skiing adventure, sooooo, therr are a few of us thinking of organising a wee trip up to bonnie scotland for a long weekend of skiing. Cant imagine its brilliant or particularly challenging but any advise or ideas would be very much appreciated!
my hubby learnt there and in his opinion is realy good as challenging as some of pamps very cold though i know that always sounds daft but it is. better than the indoor ski slopes and def better than dry, not cheap with a day pas around £25 to £30 put ski scotland in google and will find a site, checked the snow friday not very good.
Do it. The weather is unpredictable (it is Scotland after all...), so it can be very cold out there. The best advice i can give you is to plan last minute, there are 5 major resorts up there and you can make a late decision as to where the best snow is. Cairngorm is the most well known, but The Lecht and Glenshee have open recently and are reportedly skiing well.
