Just out of interest, has anyone been skiing in Scotland? Still in mourning now that i have to wait another yr before heading off on another skiing adventure, sooooo, therr are a few of us thinking of organising a wee trip up to bonnie scotland for a long weekend of skiing. Cant imagine its brilliant or particularly challenging but any advise or ideas would be very much appreciated!re: Skiing in Scotland
my hubby learnt there and in his opinion is realy good as challenging as some of pamps very cold though i know that always sounds daft but it is. better than the indoor ski slopes and def better than dry, not cheap with a day pas around £25 to £30 put ski scotland in google and will find a site, checked the snow friday not very good.re: Skiing in Scotland
Do it. The weather is unpredictable (it is Scotland after all...), so it can be very cold out there. The best advice i can give you is to plan last minute, there are 5 major resorts up there and you can make a late decision as to where the best snow is. Cairngorm is the most well known, but The Lecht and Glenshee have open recently and are reportedly skiing well.
