Skiing or Snowboarding?

Decision time...

I'm going to Borovets on the 19th and I need to decide whether I want to ski or snowboard. Originally I planned on boarding, but if the snow is going to be bad, would skiing be a better choice?

Alternatively, I could sit in the pub all day Smile

Go boarding. It's more fun and you get to spend lots of time falling on your Ar&e. Snowboarsd are also far better looking as you have more space to draw pretty pictures on them. It's simpler - you only have one board and you are strapped to it - not at all dangerous and better than having two skis that can come off with matching poles to stop you falling over and looking a right fool.

re: Skiing or Snowboarding?

I have boarded a couple of times before, but only for a day each time and the last time was nearly 3 years ago. I have also skied once on a dry slope, and I preferred the boarding.

I was just wondering if skiing would be easier/better if the snow was crap, but if there is no difference, I'll be picking boarding

re: Skiing or Snowboarding?

I found ski's better when icy but when its just crappy snow or slush a board is better.
If the ice is really bad now, i just do this instead Booze
