Only one answer in my view, if is a big powder day get of piste and enjoy on a snowboard.If off piste is limited and the snow is compacted put some skies on.
There both so different that one is not right and the other wrong.
LEARN TO DO BOTH.
And border or skier dont stop in the middle on a run so anoying.

yay to the above, i once thought of buying a board that you can split, so there for reaping the best of both worldsbut i cant control my old legs so i stick to my board so i know they aint going to seperate with the two planks and make things even more difficult for me to stay upright,
lets face it we soooooper coooool boarders need all the help we can get
