Hello,
New to the forum but coming out to Bansko on 26th Feb with 3 mates, staying at the Strazhite hotel. Anyone stayed here? is it any good??
Anyway I have just bought my first pair of skis and was wondering if I would need to get them waxed while on holiday and if so where!
Hi, I service skis and snowboards professionally and would advise you that the new skis which are factory waxed will behave well for the first day and then start slowing down. I recommend having them waxed thereafter every couple of days or go to your local ski shop and buy a puck shaped container of a product called "Zardoz". It is a silicon based compound and there are about 15 treatments per container. It costs in the region of a tenner. If you have trouble tracking it, try ;
