Skis/Boots

Ive seen various posts about buying boots and skiis in BG, and someone wondering if they were fake.
So I thought it might be of some interest, although may make a few squirm, for people to know that ' Atomic' purchased the Orion factory, and guess where loads of expensive Atomic skiis are made !!! and guess where loads of inexpensive Orion skiis are made!!!! you can even see similarities in the graphics on the skiis, so for a bargain buy some Orion skiis, the composites are exactly the ...

re: Skis/Boots

Do you think I would be able to get decent skiis, boots and poles (plus bags) for under £500 in Bulgaria?

Been looking in Snow and Rock and it would up up to nearer £700.

re: Skis/Boots

dickie youll save loads on snow and rock, really good boots ,about £160 how much you spend on skiis/bindings is up to you cause you could still spend 6-700 onskiis youd just be saving on the price in uk. Personally ive bought boots and just hire vip skiis, cause in BG you can come across a rocks and bushes poking up through the snow (weve just got back and i put a hole in one ski going over a rock)

Lillywhites, Picadilly have a 70% Sale on throughout January on all Ski/Boarding items. Might be worth seeing what you can pick up from there, as their prices are a lot cheaper than Decathlon at the moment.
