Hello all
Long time listener, First time caller. We are flying out of Doncaster 13 Jan to Pamporova, staying at the Snezanka Hotel. Does anyone have any information about this hotel or has stayed there? Does anyone have tips for children in this area and is there any apres ski that would be suitable for families (sleding / tubing, etc??)
Snezhanka hotel is nice, staff very friendly and helpful, food good & plentiful, didn't run out of hot water at busy times or anything. Have heard complaints about the beds being hard & uncomfortable but can't say I noticed meself (sleep on a washing line me!). We went in half term and there were lots of children around and it didn't take them long to pal up.
Hotel's in a good spot too, across the road from the perelik with it's bowling alley & the tunnel to the mourgavets, internet shop ...

There's a great hill just up the road that's perfect for bumboarding and when I remember the name of the pub it's near I'll let you know
Stayed there 2 years ago mike. Nice wee hotel. Clean. Beds were very hard in my experience, however by day 2 or 3 you were used to it. Food was good as it caters for a lot of school trips. Kids while i was there used to go just around the corner as there is a big hill and sledge away, most just bought a bum board type of plastic. for apres ski, there is a pool, but cold, small games room. However ,a Dan says you also have the bowling just across in the perilik, there is also a larger ...

In reality come the evening most are knackered by the time they eat
We've stayed at the Snezhanka 6 or 7 times over the years and always found it to be great. Nice intimate bar area and plenty of choice of food at mealtimes. Rooms always clean and tidy, plenty of hot water at all times. Definately give the massage a go - about £12 for a full hour and its amazing although depending on your level of stamina try avoid the sports massage - i couldn't ski the next day. Hi there
We've stayed at the Snezhanka 6 or 7 times over the years and always found it to be great. Overall a very pleasant stay at the Snezhank and 1st pick up in the morning for the slopes.
very clean hotel can be a bit hot as the seem to have the heating turned up full blast, staff realy friendly, food quiet good, reasonable selection, nice fire in the bar cheap drinks, but the beds are hard.cant have everything
the snezanka is currently going thru a refit with 75 new appartments been added to the xsisting building. as we talk this hotel/appartment has no roof on it.so lets hope its ready for the season i am due to stay here on the 23rd dec
So just to recap then.
The beds are very hard, lots of kids on school trips, the sports massage will kill you, the pool is cold and the hotel has no roof.
Great thanks for that
I'm sure we will all have a good time this season looking forward to going, see you in the bar
foods good
never run out of hot water
nice warm rooms
friendly staff
nice bar area
1st stop for the ski bus
and most important realy close to all the bars
one hotel minus a roof has a lot to offer Iam sure you will have a great time
