Snezhanka - Ski School

Hi,
Off to Pamporova for the first time and wondering if anyone has stayed in the Snezhanka Hotel and, if so, what can I expect. Also, what is the ski school like and how will a 50 + beginner deal with a new experience. Hopefully, there'll be plenty of snow by Jan 20th. - to cushion my many falls.

On Jan 20th,you can expect to be sharing the Snezhanka with 45 10/11 year olds. heh heh! Don't worry though, we've been doing the same every year for over 25 years and they haven't thrown us out yet! I like the hotel (and it's the first pick up for the buses (a biggie btw as the Hotel Pamporovo people will tell you as bus after bus sails past them!

Oh! Take flip flops if you're going to use the pool. Watch your toilet roll when you're in the shows (which are amazing - best showers in the world). Try to get a room higher up, as noise from the bar can drift. Stick toast on the 'twirly' toaster as soon as you go for breakfast as it takes ages.

Forgot to say... Have stayed there for oodles of years, right back to the old double windows and hissing radiators (sort of miss it) and the staff have ALWAYS been helpful and friendly. The food has varied over the years, but there has always been lovely salads and many options. Recently, it's been good. Expect loads and loads of chips because they know our (45 +) kids will eat them. Daks Bar is below the hotel, so it's very handy. Noise doesn't come through to the hotel. You also have ...

You also have beautiful views but then again, the whole place is simply beautiful! The people are Wonderful too! Enjoy, and tell me if any of our kids disturb you in any way!
