Snow Boots

I'm off to Borovets on the 28th Jan - first time skiing staying at the Rila.

I was wondering if people could advise me what is the best knd of footwear to be wearing around the resort when not skiing. I already have a pair of Timberland boots, but some friend have advised me getting some snow boots? If poeple agree, can anyone name any good brands of snow boots on the market at the moment i.e. North Face etc?

Cheers. Steve

re: Snow Boots

mate i wear trabs (trainers) if it is snowy, the snow isnt wet like we have over here, its powdery and dry, but based on current conditions i would suggest flip flops lol

re: Snow Boots

Timberlands will be fine, if not, a pair of the lightweight hill walking boots that are for sale in the likes of TK Max for about £20-30 are perfect. Fashion is a low priority Apres Ski, comfort is paramount.
