Snow Boots?

Hi there. Just wondering if anyone bothers with proper Snow Boots, if they are needed or not? Cheers!

re: Snow Boots?

so walking around at night you need waterproof boots? just i was planning on wearing normal footwear, i appreciate this might sound a bit daft but its the first time to borovets and presumed the side walks would be gritted and cleared of snow...

re: Snow Boots?

think these guys r kidding u dude, we went this time last year (and there was lot more snow!) and none of our group had "snow" boots and i dont remember anyone complaining about their wet feet (might of been a wee bit drunk though) i think they were just wearing trainers, hope this helps Razz

re: Snow Boots?

You don't need snow boots, even if there is a lot of snow....

I have done many ski seasons and many many skiing holidays and I have been OK with just good grip trainers/walking boots.

Hope you have fun on your first skiing holiday..
