I've been reading on here and on the forecasts that the weather has been perfect for skiing for the last week, and yet it's supposed to be raining in plovdiv in the coming days.
Is this true? Indeed, if it were true is it really likely to affect us given the amount of snow fallen there? Anyone over there at the moment with a forecast or local predictions ...
Hi.

Perhaps I'm just being paranoid, but I'm really looking forward to this now, first time snowboarding and all and don't want to get my hopes up.
Plovdiv is much lower down and quite a few miles from Pamps so it does not matter what it is doing in Plovdiv. Every time I have been there has been no snow in Plovdiv but snow in Pamps so dont worry. Also Pamporovo has had shed loads over the last few weeks so unles they get a heat wave should be plenty for you.
Just check out todays webcam and look at the snow at the moment and that is not at the top of the mountain. Do not bother with the snow forcast sites as they all give different info and change their minds all the time.
yup, Plovidv is a good couple hours drives out of the mountains to the flat lower ground. Plovdiv can be sunny dry day whilst people can still be skiiing
