The economics of any business this winter took a hammering, the poor conditions not helping towards a stream of visitors. The majority of guests coming in from Greece, Serbia, Croatia etc and these represent the largest visitor groups just did not come, well, not in the numbers that normally would if conditions had been better. Also there had been a number of new schools started (not unknown here, the land of no original idea's) which made business even harder...
There are still some good established schools, with reasonable prices, so there should not be a problem...

Mark here from Snow and Trail. I can confirm that we closed the business at the end of last season.

This is my 2nd reply to this post, as the 1st seems to have been deleted by the admins. I can't be certain, but I suspect it was because I gave a link to the ski school that I've used for years which was also the same school that Snow and Trail worked with.

I'd really like to know why my post was removed as I spent a bit of time putting together some useful information that I thought would be valuable to others looking for a good ski school.

If the forum policy is to remove recommendations for local businesses that offer competitive services, then it makes it very hard to know what I can trust on this site and in my opinion, goes against the idea of running a forum.
