I have just spotted a cheap deal to bansko at the end of march, but wondered (especially as only one tour operator runs that late in the season), what are there chances of there being enough snow to board by then? I've been there before at the beginning of Jan last year, but obviously it aint worth going if there's not enough snow...Any advice would be appreciated
Cheers
I went to borovets at the end of last season (first week in april) and altho there was no snow on the lower pistes, there was plenty of snow up on the highest pistes. at the time, bansko had even more pistes than borovets open because of better snow-cannons. This isnt bad, considering the last snowfall of the 03/04 season in bulgaria was on march 10th aprx., and that was a bad end of season compared to most.
I know that the 02/03 season had all resorts open untill the end of april! so ...

I know that the 02/03 season had all resorts open untill the end of april! so unless there is another poor end to the season, there should be plenty of snow for you.
