Hi, how difficult are we going to find it as 'beginners' if conditions stay as they are. Last went skiing 20+ years ago with two experienced skiers and a boyfriend(now hubby of 17 years) who on a first go took to it like a pro. There was little snow to speak of and as we had a snow guarantee, the other three saw their classes being bused to France, but not being an A class student, I had to stay behind or miss classes to go with them. It was not a good week and has put me off trying again ...

Hi the snow this year is much better than last year so do not worry too much. Last year wasn't great but didn't put hardly anyone I spoke to off. My son who is 7 didn't find it a problem at all but he doesn't seem to have any fear. Whereabouts are you going?
The conditions are much better than a lot of previous years just a few slushy parts on the greens. But on a whole the greens are still really great, it depends how soon you are going.
We were all in ski school and were all fine even on the slushy and icy patches. if you stay with your ski teacher he will guide you to where you need to go and we were all fine.
