Snow history??? RSVP

Hello, I'm going to Borovets this Sat 20th want to ski big time even if a little bit each day hope the forecast of snow half way through the week turns out to be true.

Does anyone know if the snow cannons in Boro have the right temp now to pump out the fake stuff?

Does anyone know the history of Boro and longest they've been in past without proper snow?

why cant they use the snow cannons at night when the temp drops and spread it on morn?

Snow cannons only operate at temps between -2 and -10.
Any warmer and the water will not create snow, any colder and it falls as ice.

it says on site average temp for boro in jan is +4 which is there coldest time, is that true? if so they wouldnt be able to use cannons at those temps?

when is coldest time supposed to be?

how long have they been without snow before?

with the right temp what do snow cannons actually do just put a fresh layer on older harder snow?

The operation is quite simplistic, they simply spray water droplets into the sky which then freeze and fall as snow - provided the temps are OK.

Borovets and Pamporovo unfortunately do not have sufficent to maintain the slopes, just the odd 1 or 2 on areas that are prone to bare and icy spots.
