Hi everyone
I've just signed up after booking a holiday with 7 friends to Borovets! I've never skied before but my friends have. But I've taken the decision to learn to board instead, as it's something I've always wanted to do! So I'm starting to learn on dry slopes over here in the UK before heading out in early March.
I just wondered, after hearing there hasn't been much snow in places the past month or so whether there will be any left come March! Would be so gutted to get out there ...

Great timing!! Been to Boro last 4 years, beginning March always had great skiing.
Guess wot? Goin again this year!
Hope we can get together with others from this forum but only there 3rd March till 7th.
Can we do lock in at White House when we are there pleeeese?
Oh yeh 4got to say me n 3 mates but we are ............ not young! Wot do you class as middle aged? Hey we go out and enjoy ourselves........bring it on!!!
Hi Hilly!
Hope it's the same then! You've deffinetly made me worry less about it!
We're heading out on the 5th but probably will spend all the Saturday afternoon/evening in the pub and do the slopes on Sunday, so a lock in anywhere sounds awesome to me!
Haha middle aged, 40+? We might be what you class as young then, all early 20's!
Did learn to ski in Boro on my 1st trip. On my own in ski school with 3, 22 year old lads from Wolverhampton. Kept up with them tho, even got moved up a class, was pretty proud of my self actually!!
Hope to see you there, perhaps nearer the time we can organise a meet.
I'm banking on good snow 5-12 March for our first trip with the kids (and first trip for over 10 yrs).
I am sure there will be enough snow for the kids to learn and me and my wife to get our ski legs back up the top of the hill!
We are certainly planning to go to the White House so no doubt will be able to say hello to any other forum peeps around at some point.
We're off on the 6:00 cheesy jet flight from Gatwick just so I can sort out ski kit on saturday PM and avoid the mad ...

Loving the community on here already! Hope to meet up for a drink with all!
It'll be my first time on snow (we're all learning to board on the dry slopes here in the UK at the moment), everyone says it'll be easier on the white stuff though!
We've got a mid-day flight from Manc, but liking the idea of sorting out gear on Saturday before rushing on Sunday.
Once you've hired the kit, do you get the same kit every day? Or just random kit each day?
Or do you stick hold of it your self ...

My final question is about rental of equipement, after reading that going with the crystalski package may not be the best equipment, I was wondering who I should go with? I heard hunters are good, but after looking at the prices, they seem a LOT more than the option through crystalski?
Just wondered if the price difference is worth it for a beginner?
Also whether it's cheaper to get ski passes seperate?
Is there anyone I can speak to about a bit of cheeky ...
Thanks again Pete!

We're staying at the Lion hotel by the way if that makes a difference!
