Snow in March

I know no one can predict the weather but what was the snowfall like in March this year?I'm planning on coming to Borovets on Thursday 15th March for 4 nights

depends,,, march is split between bloody fantasic and patchy,, changes week by week because i think march has higher precipitatation (sp) so depending on temps a massive dump can happen at any time.. been to borovets in march 6 times and luckily only once was crap.. this year booked 21st march no worries... but in all its a gamble however the snow cannons last year and this are a massive improvement in previous years...re: Snow in March

Generally March is the best month, days are longer and slightly warmer, if we have had snow it has snowed by March and the coverage is good, and there is always the chance of a good dump of powder... Previous seasons have seen this to be true, even last season which was poor saw March after the late Feb fall skiable right through... Ok, not pristine, but still plenty enough to entertain

plenty of snow last march, we were out in Boro and it dumped it down, second year running, not so sure about it warming up either steve, on the first day of the FIS race it measured -37C windchill apparently!!! we did have the kids actually wearing those foil survival blankets, great time go March !! (must be why were going again)re: Snow in March
I was in Borovets in Feb this year and was lucky with the snow, due to work i can't make it out until March but sounds like i wont be disappointed!!Time to get it booked i think
