Snow in March

Can anyone tell me what the snow is like around March 19th-------26th in Bulgarian resorts and which resort would be the best for that time of year.

Barry,as of the beginning of march,the snow gets very thin and is not the best time to go.GO BETWEEN 2ND WEEK OF JAN TO END OF FEB AND GET THE VERY BEST CONDITIONS

The snow at the beginning of March is usually white and cold.

It's usually fine through March and you will be very unlucky not to have great conditions.

bansko, has the best snow record out of the resorts!! plus it has the height to keep the snow!! tom

I have been 4 times in mid March to Pamporovo first 2 times 98 & 99 loads of snow. Went back in 2001 very poor conditions but lovely and warm! Last year had plenty of snow at the begining of the week but again by the end of the week it was melting fast. Bansko is higher and was skiing last year into April. It is hit and miss in March but I would chance it again because it is quieter

Im going end of march to Bansko, it seems to be the best resort for late season skiing.
