Snow on the way for Bansko and Borovets. First heavy falls forecast for Friday night.

Mmmmm, travelling back from UK to Bansko, Dover - Calais 11.55pm Friday, then that little jaunt through Europe, 1850 miles, then snow when i get there

Well...having looked at technical data its looking like that temperatures are going to dip from Wednesday to about freezing, not a great deal lower. Percipitation is predicted around Saturday and lasting into Sunday...the following week, temperatures are going to remain around freezing, at best, or above.

Thats the latest data.

Last year was an aberration - we normally don't get skiable conditions until Christmas. So another 6 weeks of squats....

Just arrived back from Pamporovo a few hours ago.

All week it has been bright sunshine and up to 23 degrees. Much warmer than most of UK I gather.
