Can any one tell me what the snow condition is like in Borovets. Some of the snow report sites are saying that not all the lifts are open and some of the lower slopes are closed. Should I be taking a big bag of patience with me next week!!!David

We were there last week the snow was getting very light on the slopes opposite the Rila but if you can stand the hour and a half queue for the Gondola (either get there before 10am or after 11.30am) and the subsequent queues the other side - then the snow is better. However, there are a number of runs closed but I don't think it's due to lack of snow as there were lifts closed on the Gondola side too and there was plenty of snow over there.
