Dear All,As a first time jaunter to Bulgaria I have a couple of questions which maybe the wonderful people on this forum can help me with.
1) I'm looking to be in Borovets (preferably?) around 11th Dec - 20th Dec. Will the pistes be open?? Is it possible to ski this early??
2) With regards accomodation and rental of equipment if anyone has suggestions they would be appreciated

1 May be a little early but cross your fingers, it's starting to look good in a couple of resorts. But can't guarantee it

The lifts may be open at the weekend but very doubtfull in the week as the first bookings through travel agents are normally 20th, although im sure ive seen some this year booking the week earlier.Finger crossed for at least some weekend fun though as my mum is nipping out to see me on the 17th till the 22nd

We are currently trying to decide between Borovets and Bankso and I guess its gonna come down to which resort is open (or rather which resort's lifts are up and running).
I heard a rumor that Bankso may be opening earlier than Borovets this year. Something like Bankso is opening in the first week of December whilst Borovets will not be on the go until the 20th???
