Snow

I'm in Boro now. Most of the slopes are closed and those open are covered in grass and stones. The gondala has been closed on and off due to the winds and when open the snow aint that good up there either, very slushy. Its foggy at the mo and has been raining on and off for a few days. It is almost t shirt weather. We got on the slopes for three days but that was it.

To be fair to the boro staff they have managed the slopes very well and kept the resort open for a long without snow ...

No sign of snow, maybe some up top 2 ngt.

I do hope this report isnt rubbished by the propaganda merchants that tend to pull apart any coment that is negative.

Thanks Gary,

We head out to Pamporovo next week and were planning a day or two in borovets. It's good to get honest reviews.

re: Snow

Hi Gary

Thanks for the update. I have been looking at the webcam today and it has shown people skiing down to the rila and it didn't look that patchy. Is it worse further up the mountain?
