Snowboard Borovets

I was in Borovets for 1 day last year and about half the mt was closed to snowboarding. Can you ride the whole mt this year or are there still restrictions?

many of the pistes (especially those above the gondola) are accessed via fast button lifts that are difficult to use for snowboarders

Thanks for the info. As I remember the left side of the mt (as you look at it from the hotel rila) had chairs but I wasn't allowed on them with a snowboard. I was told that this whole sections was 'off-limits' to snowboarders...

I'm heading back in a week for a few days and am just curious.

I went last week, boarded all week, buttons and all, no restrictions, muchos powder under the new 4 man Smile

p.s. Try blagging a lift on a piste basher (few levs) and get an extra groomed run Smile
