Snowboard Instructors Borovets

Has anyone else had a dodgy snowboard instructor in Borovets? I quit my tuition after the first day as I found the instructor (Rumen) to be a bit arrogant and the language barrier was a problem.

No way we had Pete last week and all i can say is wat a legend he was rly gud not only on the slopes but booked us in for meals at the best places in town. Booze

I had an excellent instructor in Borovets called Freakie, he is often found in Franko's opposite the Rila, he is based at the ski school in the Flora....but will arrange private lessons. Anyone who can teach me deserves a medal! I would say thought that you need to get used to teh Bulgarian forthrightness, if yo were shit you were shit, if you were good 'its ok....' same as having a husband really Wink

I had one lad cant remeber his name - for a snow boarding taster - he had my 12 year old daughter in tears - very nearly ripped his head off - I had to explain to him the error of his negative ways - it was either that or show him through the loving nurturing sport of lau gur

he got the message - a coupl of our party where boarders ( must love pain ????) lol - and they said the instructors just wanted to drink and provide ( extra lessons £££££) - onb the flip side our ski instructor ...
