Snowboarding in March

I am planning a trip to Pamporovo at the beginning of March.

We were going to stay at the hotel Pamporovo - what's it like??

I am an absolute beginner at boarding and would like to know if the snow is reliable in March, particularly on the nursery slopes. How long does the season extend to with reliable snow?
Also, would you book your lessons in the resort when you get there or in advance through the tour operator?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

Dunno about the snow in Pamps but the best advice I can give you is to get off the beginner slopes as soon as you can. You'll never learn otherwise...

Is that just in Bulgaria, or in general? Is March always unreliable in Europe?

re: Snowboarding in March

No March can be very good but you need to go high! Bansko last year was skiing into April but this was not possible in Pamporovo Alison. I arrive in Pamps on 14th March and was lucky because it snowed heavily the week before. But it was very warm all week and the snow was melting fast by the end of the week it was only just possible to get from top to bottom. But 98 and 99 It hardly stopped snowing all week so you takes your chances. Very Happy
