Last year I went snowboarding for the first time in Borovets, it was great!
Except for learning the valuable lesson that the Sitnyakovo green slope quickly becomes, well, not a slope. This means a long walk down if you're on a snowboard. Very important not to make that mistake again.
My question is: is long green Musala slope the same or is it sufficiently inclined *all* the way down for snowboarding?

re:Snowboarding on Musala
If you carry enough speed you can pretty well do it without a walk, there used to be a slight incline towards
the end of the pathway but that has been regraded. Get to know the pathway and then do it when it is empty,
get on the first gondola and go straight down the pathway. Some of the bends are awesome and you can get
down it seriously fast. 10 minutes from the top of the gondola back to Rotata and I know people who can do
it faster than that. Big smiles.
I agree with Gerry, that run is one of the best on the resort. If you let it go hell to leather when it's quiet from the gondola, you'll be grinning ear to ear and in need of a well deserved pint.
Happy new year Gerry and Sandra😃

Thanks Paul and Trish and wishing you the same, a real pity that you are not coming this year and we will miss you.
We have two Paul's here now but will not have the full house, if we have loads of snow in March maybe you ...

Unfortunately not this year, I'm doing a Portugal surf trip in March and having a few days boarding in Garmisch Germany at the end of this month, but next year will be heading back to Borovets no doubt, as the place and people are like a magnet and we miss you all. It's a shame it wasn't me who planned the boarding in Germany or I'd be back to Borovets like a shot.
