Snowboarding with Gout?

Hi,

My mate has had an attack of gout from the christmas and new year over-indulgance. Does anyone know how long its lasts for? Very Happy

Alternativly, does any one have a spare left snowboard boot, size 12? Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
