hi there all have been to borovets many times now and was wanting to know what bansko i slike for boarding and vairity of slopes, boroves seems to lack funpark and off piste riding all though they do have an amazing long run through the forest....any help would be appreciated
the off piste can be good with good snow conditions. this is my opinion though. i'm not a massively seasoned holiday goer. but i had a great time a couple of years ago through the trees in the powder. so unless your some sort of pro i'm sure you'll be happy. not sure about the park. wasnt completed when i was there. check out the vidoe on bansko ski and also youtube. theres a couple of vids of off piste stuff.
I've been to Bansko boarding, from what I've seen of the runs it's quite good as they're not too narrow. I'm only beginner-intermediate so I'm no expert. My other half has been from Todorka peak and down the Shiligarnika run which he really enjoyed. Wouldn't recommend the ski road back down though unless you can get lots of speed up as there's some flat bits. There's a black run which I doubt I'll ever attemp, looks too scary for me! I've not been to Borovets yet but from what people ...

I've not been to Borovets yet but from what people have said in the past, Bansko seems to be more for intermediates, and people have talked about the off piste being quite good. There's supposed to be a fun park but I've not seen it yet (not that I'm looking for it at my level yet). Agree with above comments on checking out the Bansko videos on you tube
Bansko will have a much improved snowpark mid Feb, as it's hosting the Burton tour. We found it pretty mellow cruising with plenty of little kickers and if conditions are right apparently some real challenging off piste. The ski road back to bottom gondola is a gentle blast but great fun at the end of the day, only flat bit is the top, some skiers are friendly enough to give you a short tow if you grind to a stop.
I have only boarded early season in bansko and it was ok, i think it is probably better later in the season from the start of feb. But in saying that it is looking good for this year. We will be back there 29th dec so hopefully thr conditions will be good early on in the season too.
Your rite Pepe, I ground to a halt and it was a Bulgairian who gave me a tow, another occasion we had to stop to let a meat wagon go past and again a couple of local ski instructures offered a tow, I found locals and Greek people to be very jolly, just fellow Brits that act like arses in Bansko.
