Snowing in bansko

Snow fab in bansko and it's snowing as we speak, had a great three days and another 3 to go.. . Preying that they open the rest of the runs tomorrow now that the competetion has finished, ques were bad again this morning but used the bus service which works fantastic , five mins tops today wait for a bus but you would stand in the gondola for an hour easily..

Enjoying the après ski is there anywhere anyone can recommend ?

The snow is the best I've seen in the last four years of coming to bansko,the snow was coming down from 3 this afternoon up the top and snowing down in the resort at five

ah, glad to hear it snowing, we just got back yest, would have been nice to see it snowing, but never mind the snow in general was excellent, esp compared to last few years ! we went to the Euphoria bar a couple of times, opp gondola. very nice atmosphere and very sociable with some actually good live bands. was told by some people in there that Amigos nearby to the right at the crossroads there, was good also with fire eaters etc. but sadly we didn't make it. Enjoy rest of the snow....

Friendly bar is always a good bet. Best price for drinks and great band on in there. We have heard great things about Euphoria too(this is part of the same group as the friendly) but we have not been in there yet and we live here.

Snow is still hoofing down on the mountain. Great news as we may have a couple of days off this week to actually ski. Steve C is off to borovets thursday with a group along with me if our duaghter is feeling better.
