Sofia is fine - lots of shops (not to be confused with Plovdiv) and very modern now. As good as most other international airports around the world.

the floors.. they are lovely and smooth...if you get a chance buy a skateboard cos youll have soo much fun...

smoking far end of terminal near small kiosk that serves drinks n sarnies. not bad airport compared to some european ones ive been too.

Triv what is the exact problem with Grenoble airport.Nothing really.Land -}straight transfer-}ski( a hell of a number of resorts big and small) and back --easy.

Apart from being pathetically small (considering the volume of flights coming into and out of Grenoble), the baggage collection organisation was disasterous. The screens were not used, no one knew which conveyor belt to collect your luggage from, was overcrowded and just crap!
