Sofia to Borovets

Arriving to Sofia on monday and travelling to Borovets. The forecast for Sofia is heavy snow . My question is , will everything come to a holt (like it does in the UK) and are we in for a white nuckle ride in our taxi ride from airport to resort ?

I'm no expert on this matter but i know all the times i've had a transfer from Sofia it has been a totally white knuckle ride all the way -- and that's with no snow on the road !!!!!!!!!
