Hi all, I know this is the best message board on the net for skiers, I wanted to know if anybody has ever skiied in Soll, Austria. And if so what can a good intermediate skiier excpect?
Andy
soll is on the skiwelt ski area quiet a large area, although I believe its better for beginners, I think kitzbuhel is a better area, try looking on www.skiclub.co.uk there is a discussion board on their with loads of info about austrian resorts. hope this helps.
Soll has got some fantastic skiing - for all levels. You can ski a different route every day. Huge area and never seems crowded - we've been out in New Year week and although lots of people, it was never as busy as we found Borovets at New Year. There's also free ski buses that scoot you out to other resorts like Westendorf etc which are fab. Great atmosphere too - and some nice pubs. Also some really nice moutain pubs and restaurants. Much more expensive than Bulgaria, obviously!
