So please take care the next days and don't have struggle with me on the path, it will have no good end.
Today the resort was very busy, a lot of people from UK arrived or leave the resort, but a bigger number from bulgarian came by car smached the resort for a weekend break.
The prices are now around 3 lev a half litre. If you will buy wine they charge you 50 to 100% higher as in rest of bg or f.e. in Samokov there I buyed a bottle of '89 Zar Simeon for 10 lev, thats a great price.
Restaurants in tourist centre of Borovez I haven't visit since yet and will do not or only these who I knowed since yet because can't imagine that I found funny to open a Menu and see prices which will be unexpectable....
See you the next time now will read somethign may be write somemore before I have a shower and a nice and cheap evening in Samokov...
This is a message from a Bulgarian who resents the increase in prices (but not quality in the facilities or service) brought about by the Brits who go skiing in Bulgaria. Unfortunately, even though the Brits who visit Bulgaria are not particularly well off, that is enough to price Bulgarians out of the Bulgarian ski resorts.
Sune can you tell me if March the 4th is a national holiday weekend in Bulgaria and if so what is it for? I have been told that there will be a lot of Bulgarians in the ski resorts that weekend which is not a problem just wondered what the occasion was? or if it is incorrect
Its not 'the Brits' who have put the prices up tho ( I guess its maybe the willingness to pay them?). Bororvets has discovered why so many of us fly there - cos its cheap & cheerful skiing!
They are very quickly pricing themselves out of that market tho!
Completely agree with you if they continue to raise the prices brits will go else where. its still cheap but is getting more and more packed, this could make people choice other resorts. they need to look at what they have and keep it cheap, they don't have the same facilities that a lot of the other european resorts have, thats what you pay for there.
Yes Gill the 3 of march is the bulgarian national day, so hope your driver from the airport will be sober, sorry for my worse grammar have to ask Pete for some more lessons.
And Gill it give a lot of offers for bulgarians for these day to celebrate, with package deals to all over bulgaria and europe, for everyone who have the money.
