Thank you for all of your kind wishes - it's been a very tough decision to take, but I want to be with Mum as much as I can. We celebrated her birthday yesterday which was one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do knowing that it will be her last.

Elaine and I have booked for next year to make up for it. I'm leaving my ski bag packed - ready in anticipation - only 381 sleeps to go now.

Really sorry Judith and I sent my last posting without reading yours. Stupid of me. My parents are 90 and 94 and I will probably be going down the same road in the not too distant future. My thoughts are with you.
