Spondoolicks!!!

Hi

Going to Pamps in a few weeks half-board - prebooked ski school and I've got my own skis, boots etc.

It's just myelf and my missus - how much spends would you recommend for a week?

re: Spondoolicks!!!

Mrs Banknote and I were there 2nd to 8th. I took £200 in cash, but used the cashpoint machine in the lobby of the Murgavets three times at 200 lev a go. We didn't spend any of the cash, so brought it home with us. Hard to put a precise figure on it, but we spent about £220 in six days, and we didn't skip on anything. The most expensive afternoon/night out we had, cost us about £30. If you budget £50 (150 Lev) a day, you'll probably have to book into a detox clinic when you get home ...

We're back again this weekend, this time with the kids, so obviously they'll want cokes/pancakes etc etc, but these are very cheap.

re: Spondoolicks!!!

over the last few years me and the missus took about £300 each. We only managed to spend it all once and that was one hell of a year.

re: Spondoolicks!!!

I managed to spend £400 in a week with missus ( tee totaler) and a 6 year old daughter. I am wondering what I did wrong. The prices I paid when I got there were far higher than most of the ones I have seen on here.

Admittedly alot disapeared in that time spell between the 10th beer and waking up but I did spend it.

We ate in the hotel in the evenings and on the slopes during the day.???????

It's the wallet fairies. They robbed me sometime between "one for the road", and "oh my god my head hurts" Very Happy

Johnster, take a wedge of cash with you, and use the cashpoint machines in the resort. If you don't need to spend any of the cash, put it back in the bank when you get back.
I should have pointed out, that the food being so good in the Murgavets, we didn't eat out at all, so effectively , we spent £200 on booze and cigs.

re: Spondoolicks!!!

Was that your first time at the Murgavets Banknote thats where I am going in Feb & just curious. We stayed at the Pamps at XMas but found it too far to crawl after a night out. Thats good advice about the cash and cashpoint I did the same just incase the 2 ATM's broke down. Only prob was I spent a good bit of the cash as well 'cos I got so blottowed I couldn't remember my pin Nr.

and that I put down to the early start with the chocco Rums.

Those brandy chocolates sneak up on ya don't they? LOL.
First time in the Murgavets, in fact, the first time in Pamporovo. Absolutely loved it. As I've posted before, the food in the Murgavets was excellent, and then just a short stroll down to BJ's...............got everything we need !!
