Sterling

I was wondering if anyone who has been on a week's holiday to Borovets would be able to give me any advice as to how much Sterling I should take for spends. I haven't been on a skiing holiday before and have read all the advice about taking sterling to pay doctors etc and just haven't got a clue as to how much money to take. We are staying half board at the Rila and have booked all our ski-packages etc. and there are 2 adults and 2 children in our party. I would be grateful for any advice ...

re: Sterling

I spent about £ 600 in a week with 2 adults and 1 child but when I mentioned it on here everybody accused me of having a huge drink problem Booze I did have quite a few but I was drinking my girlfriends share because she doesn't drink.

I would take about £600 in cash and use the ATM's in resort to make up the rest if you need it.You will see alot of advice on here regarding exchange rates etc. but don't ruin your holiday running round to get the best rate as there really isn't that much ...

The only place to get stitched up is at change kiosks who advertise one rate then give you another.

Use the safety deposit boxes which are provided in most Hotels.
