Hi Steve C/Night Muffy (or anyone else who knows Bansko really well). We're staying at the Emerald; where in relation to that is the Irish Bar that I've seen you mention. Also any other good kid friendly eateries/boozeries recommendations wouldn't go amiss. I'm aware of the Friendly Bar underneath the Emerald which I know is good.
Also, what odds do you give the local forecast of some snow on Sunday/Monday.

Not to far from you Charlie, down to the Friendly, turn right and along to the Dumenov Hotel, turn left and go down 250m or so and the Irish is on your right.It can get busy in the Flora bar near you, but don't know how kid friendly it is. The Irish is now non-smoking.
Snow ? In the hands of the gods mate, 11 degrees today.
