Not to bad, lovely day again in Torquay (typical !!!), got to go to Taunton this afternoon on an installation (work, horray !!), still not had anything from HP for my printer/scanner/fax/copier/teamaker/shoepolisher thingy, resisted throwing my coffee over it yesterday (just) but still considering it today

Its my turn to be stressed out with PC problems. All this week I have had e-mails saying I have a virus. When this has happened before I have been told to delete them and not open any attachment. Well I know that I'm not an idiot thank you.
Today I had 5 such messages so contacted the Help Desk. Always a challenge this as our call centre is in India surprise surprise. I have just had a message from them saying delete the message and don't open any attachments. Why do I ...

My office has a shop front where we sell equipment, had an old fella in this morning with what he thought was a faulty telephone, tested it and it was ok, suggested he contact BT to report the fault. He was in his eighties and looked a bit stressed at the thought, i contacted BT for him and was on the line for 40 minutes before being connected to India. They confirmed that the line was faulty and that they would have an engineer with him on Monday 9th May. I said he was ...

I said he was a priority, the operator asked how i could prove this, f**k me, what do they want me to do, send them a photo !!!!! Eventually as i was getting nowhere i accepted that the fault had been logged and gave up with the Indian guy.
Dug out my old contact book and found a mates number on the local control, rang him, explained the situation, an engineer will be there within 4 hours
Why is everything so bl**dy dificult these days ???
Do you know what, this old boy gave me £20.00 for my trouble, was adament that he would not take it back, restores your faith in human nature
O, by the way, off to Bansko again in June
Nothing finalised yet, all that i know is that is the time i want to go. One week in Bansko and one week on the coast, will check my baggage and see how much space i have got darlin....
Had my hair coloured last night (its a vanity thing darling), Karens daughter is a hairdresser so she did it, its that bl**dy computer making me grey, people have said it has taken years off me, i only look 65 now.....
