Also very hazy this morning - very late night last night. Took my two nieces to see Mary Poppins at theatre last night. Fantastic… brilliant… amazing…
Loved it and so did the girls. Florence was a bit too old for it at 13 - not adult, but not a young child anymore so some of the magic was lost on her.. Although, when Mary flies up at the end, she did say "I hope she's wearing clean knickers"… and the scene where Bert "walks around" the stage was so cool.

The toy scene wasn't as scary as I thought it would be and nor was the old nanny. Florence thought Miss Brill was very good. Miriam who is 9 thought the whole thing was fab, but fell asleep on the train going home. Had Phillip Schofield in the audience - interestingly, in the same area as us - obviously can't afford better tickets than the upper circle.
just got up! got to go to work later, not looking forward to it. Why do hangovers seem worse here than they do when skiing? Is it something to do with cleaner air / high altitude etc.............
