Just got this message. May answer some earlier posts:
Julie and I were in Stoykite this summer - we had a look at the old lift in
Stoykite - it's a drag and about 10 min walk from Apts.
Great news is that new lift is being built - about 150 yards from Apt!
- (not be ready for this season) - it will join up to the Sneznenka
tower.
So at least someone has actually seen work being done on it and should be good for people who have properties in the village.

This prestigeous village is an extremely requested location for building of holiday home and tourist accommodation for the wealthy local people or investors from abroad. There is no crime here. Further the village benefits from main drainage system and cable TV.
Currently there is one lift for the skiers and for the tourists, although the plans of the local municipality include building of another lift to connect the village to Pamporovo and the local ski run. Few forest routes lead to the ski runs of Pamporovo. The people who permanently live in the vilage are around 300 persons. However during the weekends and the national holiday many people who own property here are coming and the village gets really crowded.
In our opinion Stoykite has a great tourist potential for skiing, mountain trekking and rural tourism.
