Folks
Just had friends come back from Pamps (Sat 9th Oct) after a Bulgarian friends' wedding and there are big changes afoot in our favourite place namely:
The White Hart pub has been demolished. There's a new Perilik hotel being built so can't get to the old Perelik hotel from the front, you now have to go round the back way. A new chair lift is in at the bus station and the old Chinese is being transformed into a new ski depot. The 'dip' outside the Markony opposite the 'ski depot' ...

The 'dip' outside the Markony opposite the 'ski depot' has been levelled for car parking and the 'shops' between the Perilik and Murgavets have been demolsihed (well at least some of them have) So all change for the 'new' season!!!

thanks for the up to date info, but I am getting a little bit concerned as we are going to Pamps at xmas and I am worried that we are going to find a building site there. Does your friend say if all these changes will be finished by then? I do hope they haven't spoilt the place as we are bringing family over with us this year and we have told them that Pamps is GREAT
On the plus side of things I have just checked the weather forecast and there is 13cm of snow forecast for ...

hi,looks like mum has been on here whilst i have been out!, that wasn't little fleety who wrote that reply
it was my mum ( wendy)we really enjoyed pamps when we went last time though, i hope it hasn't changed too much. good news about the snow though!
not long to go now!My snow dances must have worked at long last!
Am i write in thinking ( sorry if i'm wrong) but are you realated to tomba , who i was talking to on here about this time last year?!

Nearly right. Tomba is my friend's son. Mattie is my nephew. I know you were meant to be going this year at the same time as us but broke your arm sledging in the snow!! No funny stuff this year. Make sure you get there this time.Tell your mum that apparently the building work should be completed by next ski season although there is some doubt that the new Perelik will be finished. Anyway, the snow will cover anything unsightly.
