Stupid Question????

Going to Pamps early March with Balkan. Heard that there is no films etc. showing on airplane. Fine with me, I like to get my head stuck into a good book. But 18yr old and 12 year old a bit miserable. 18yr old wants to know if he can use his portable dvd player onto aircraft, would'nt like him to get it taken off him. Any advice please? Thanks

Yes, you can normally use a portable DVD player once the captain turns off the 'fasten seatbelt' signs i.e. not during take-off or landing.

Can use when plane in air, they just ask that you do not use during take off and land.

The bulgarian airline booklet in the back of the seat infront of you states that you cannot use electronic games, MP3 players, portable electronic devices etc.

This is a load of tosh as I used my MP3 player whilst on board and other kids where using their gameboys, MP3 players etc. whilst the fasten seat belt sign was off with no problems.

offcially NO but the captain has been known to recive football result via text message from his wife

yes apparently it CAN affect signals but doesnt usually, i asked because when i was on a flight from salzburg to gatwick we got delayed and the man sitting next to me turned his phone on and told the person on the other end that we were being delayed whilst i was sitting there being worried lol
