Hi Pete
You seem to be the man in the Know i just wondered how mutch you know about the planned expansion of pamporovo and the links to the perilek peak and chepalere, also you hear about a ski centre at smolian, also an airport there and a golf course nearby, is this all talk and if it isnt what is the roll out, where will they start and where will they finish. Also is it true that they will not alow any new developments in the pamporovo area, only the ones that have stsarted and ones with planning permission already granted ?

The Perelik Project has been planned for many years now, but with the recent private purchase of the Chepelare slopes the reality of this happening is very much alive and plans to triple the available runs at Pamporovo, install new lifts and build a nearby golf course are expected to commence later this year. A new super highway that will run close to Pamporovo and continue all the way to the Greek summer resorts is also planned, making Pamporovo a sound investment area for the future. Several villages will be linked by the new ski project and this will bring jobs and properity to the area.
