Summer Holiday in Pamps?

Hi

Has anyone been in Pamps during summer? What's it like? I wouldn't mind going there for a week or so to see what Pamps has to offer during summer.
Does the big lift go up to the top in summer as well and is there anything open?

You may be dissapointed. The only lift that works is the 4 man from middle station that will take you to the top. Then the only thing open is the tower. To get to middle station you have to walk or drive.
The bigger hotels in the resort are open as are the resturants. But that's about it!
Great if you want a totally relaxing do nothing holiday - I did it two years ago thought it was fantastic but I was staying with friends in Chepelare so was able to get about a bit.

Thanks for the info. Middlestation is ok. Not to far to walk. I'm interrested in walking through the forests around Pamps, but it might be a bit boring for the kids though.
Need to think about this one.
