In stead of benefiting from the problems of the other counties in the region we Bulgarians are turning away the tourists with fires and Big diggers.
Hoteliers in BG are constantly complaining that the tourists are getting very spoiled and influencing their decision where to go by taking the scare information on board and simply turning their backs on regions with negative articles.
And until the other countries are keeping quite about the bad news and are trying to place them under the carpet in Bulgaria there is not possible to do that because the noise is tremendous and the fire effects are impossible to ignore.

Turkey with terrorists bombing the resorts.
And what are we doing?
In this conditions the beloved Bulgaria which is paradise on earth -says the article, in the current climate which is very good for the country,we meet and greet the first batch of tourists arriving on the coast line this summer season with a massive fire in Golden Sands.
The foreign tourists can benefit from unique photographic oportunities and pictures taken by themselves from the disaster areas.
If you think and about the other fire which broke not long ago in the hotel Viva Club somebody may think that the resort is gearing up to welcome guests from the World Congress for fire effects-WCFE .

The tourists are unlikely to get used to and with the ‘’Concreted land’’ in the sea resorts and spreading of dumpsites everywhere between the hotels.
The fast track block building has reached a stage where one year hotel on the first line described as one with sea view, next year has to correct the wording to:-short view towards next door hotel where you can handshake with the people next through the balconies instead of the sea view.

Local Mayors are issuing notices and penalties but nobody, nobody but the Medias are taking notice of the situation.

To wake up by the sound of cement mixer,
gunning down by the pneumatic drills
or machine rhythmic hammering next to you
are about to become 'copyright' for Bulgaria.

Instead of sorting the mess quickly the interested organisations started a dirty war under the table with blaming each other.

Obviously for us Bulgarians is true that when the situation is good, we don’t waste even a second to work very hard against ourselves.

Even though alot of the stuff he has already said many times may need saying for the good of the country, it's not what you say, it's the way you say it. I totally agree, he is over the top and has probably given Bulgaria a bad reputation all by himself. There are other websites specifically for comments like the one's mikey writes.
If anyone wants to visit Bulgaria they can ask for advise on a particular resort, I don't believe anyone has asked mikey for any resort advice, he's just rammed his own opinion down everyones throat time and time again.
The forum used to be a pleasure to read, funny and everyone seemed happy on here.
If you feel so strongly about issues and want to get people to agree with what is happening, wouldn't it be better to have people on your side by explaining your knowledge of the areas in a less insulting way.
People are now ingnoring what you have to say and just see your name and know it will be another rant.
Your attitude problem is the talk of the forum now not
your point of view as this is wearing thin and getting very boring. I didn't even read the post above that you wrote, because I knew what it already said.

if you want this forum to be rosy and only positive, better call it 'Positive only comments bulgariaski'

When more positive news come out of Bulgaria I will be the first to shout out about them dont you worry about this.

I vote for the admin to ban straight away all of the trolls jumping on every single negative feedback forming their own clique and party and advertisers on here which are twisting the truth and missleading greatly the newcomers.

If they start to ban the negative comments on here they will be doing bad service for themselves.
people will know clearly that this is only property and tourist biased website and will not even bother looking.
Then only the very small army of hard cores will be left
Then all of you will be losers.

Id say positives are the annoying ones because I know what the reality is .

Let everybody decide and form opinion without onesided unhealthy help.

I am interested in the state of the resorts and welcome any news good or bad, it's the attitude that I was on about.
If I had a question that I needed answering I would gladley ask you Mikey if I knew I would get an UN sarcastic answer.
As it is there are other forums with people who also know a hell of alot about whats happening in Bulgaria. These people are very approachable and not in the least sarcastic. You're not the only one who knows whats going on.
I've also spoken to many many people who are very happy with Bulgaria.

I've decided not to write on this forum anymore, unless I have a question that can't be answered elsewhere.

Just wanted to say thanks to you Pete for running a great forum over the past couple of years that I've used it.

AA - what a shame that a few have made you reach this decision, although I can see why.

Some just cannot accept that there are people who love Bulgaria, warts and all. Not because we have an investment interest or are alcoholic chain smokers with little brains or social standards but because it has a unique charm. It's not everyone's cup of tea and there are problems but most of us try and advise people how to get the best out of their time in BG and how to avoid the pitfalls.
