Have been a couple of times in summer. In truth the area around Pamporovo is extremely quiet (apart from lots of lorries at the moment!) in the summer although supposedly the Perelik Project is aiming to develop the area as a summer and winter resort.
There are some very nice walking routes + places to visit like the Wonderful Bridges, Shiroka Laka, Trigrad Gorge, Bachkovo Monastery etc. Plovdiv is also worth a visit. My folks have just returned from a 7 day stay + thoroughly ...

Thanks Joff,We are intrested in Mountain Biking, cross country. The peace and quiet sounds good.
It will be interesting to see how things develop in the next couple of years.

Hi Pamps is very quiet. I went for a few days beginig of July. Not really anything advertised to do, hope this improves.At the begining of July there were lots of Lorries and lots of developments going on with buildings and also the road into the village is having work done to it.
Hopefully in the Winter there will be a large snow fall.
