Summer in Pamporovo

Just back from Pamps for the first time, what a holiday!

I want to go again in summer and have been offered a cracking deal in a chalet, what happening in July? Any mountain biking, horse treking, Quad biking etc?

one of the ski instructors told me he does mountain biking in the summer, going back on the 4th March so will find out more because I am really interested too

Cheers Gill Very Happy I've heard you can load bikes on the chairs and let rip from the top of the tower, but I'm not sure where you can hire them from.

May be a business oportunity for you entreprenurial types

I know they do mountain biking holidays and the ski instructors take you out, but not seen anything on the UK holiday websites who do this, so it may be that you have to do it as a DIY thing, I will try to get some more details and post them when I get back if I do - it would be a great place for mountian biking...at least it means you can get excited for pamps again without the snow....

Balkan holidays offer holidays to Pamps all hotels will lay on activities you want.

Triple chairlift stays open in summer and you can take a guided tour of the mountain you skied on, covered in heather and flowers.

Really beautiful, and most of the hotels have street style cafes outside.

A trip down to the lakes is also a must.

I have read that you are only an hours drive from Greek beach resorts which would also make it a worthwhile place to visit. I purchased an apartment in Pamps so am looking forward to getting summer use also

That's it people I'm hooked.

Just booked a friends chalet for July in sunny Pamps (got it for peanuts!) I'm taking books galore, will do some mountain biking and chill out on the Villa's veranda!

Pete, how far are the lakes? It would be an added bonus if I could skip over to Greece but I'm not sure the road is built yet
