Hello.

Hello.
I have been to Borovets several times now, and am visiting again on January 19th for the week.
On previous visits to Borovets, we stayed in the Edelweiss, about 10 minutes walk from the main slopes.
Every morning we used to talk to the slopes and then walk back every afternoon, and then back out for some food and some drinks at the bars and stuff till the very early hours.
There used to be a very polite (hard working man) called Sunny/Sonny/Sunnie*, who used to run a little Pizza place near the slopes. The pizza was he sold were amazing, and we used to get one on the tipsy walk home from the pubs back to the hotel.
Sunny Pizza is still there but the man has moved just a couple of doors down the road to either the Irish bar or Vicky's. He was definitely there in January last year - he's always very polite and never pushy!
Jo is correct but Kiro (the name of the person you are talking about) is actually the owner of the Harp bar (irish) and Vickys. He also used to rent out Sunny's bar!! Unlike all other restaurants he is probably the only actual owner who stands outside to get people in..
Sunnys is not being rented by him / his team this year as someone else is taking it so can't give any info on the menu / quality / new team! They were great pizzas in previous years though!

re: Sunny's Pizza
I met Slav the owner of Sunny's in town today and he was with the two people he is renting the restaurant to this season. Seemed like nice guys and they are starting this weekend.
