can any one shed any light on this subjecany building work started yet and just how is it going to change the place

None started yet. I guess it depends on your point of view - either it will link up Chepelare and Pamporovo into a much larger ski resort with associated significant infrastructure development or it will illegally destroy some of the most important biodiversity areas in the country giving little or nothing to the local people and further money laundering for the mafia who control the project.But hey, I bet there will be cheap apartments for sale.

What?A new lift is being constructed to Stoikite. it will be open next year and two new runs to follow. Chepelare isn't planned to link up (as yet) The clue is in the name Pelelik Project. Pamporovo is to link upto mount perelik and should be completed in 5-6 years
